Post up if you see any bargains in the New Years sales...

Pretty scary but i just placed another order with Games Paradise, even with horrible customer service and games not even posted. Still worth a try after i factored in free shipping, store points and 20% discount. Anyway for $118 I ordered :

    Mage Wars Druid vs Necromancer

    Mage Wars Conquest of Kumanjaro

    Pandemic : On the Brink

    Dungeon Roll

Looking forward to seeing what specials Ozgameshop has over new years.

Tell us about your post Christmas purchases !

    Good selection of games!

Bad selection of game shop ;-)

I havent seen any really good deals yet, I notice adventgames.com.au has a sale section. If I saw Suburbia on a deal I'd probably snap it up - its about the only thing on my radar.

I bought a couple of games from ozgameshop (used that $5 credit they gave everyone), and had another voucher.

    Got:

Blueprints (played it last night, fun little filler, create buildings from dice)
Bang! The dice game - same as Bang, but done in 15 mins
Pirate Dice - Cut down Roborally with pirate ships
Cards Against Humanity - not a game I think I'll play a lot, but lots of fun if you dont overplay it, and its easy to bring out for non-gamers

    Other purchases:

Among the Stars (7 Wonders in space!)

I've been reading posts from our weekly group members who have been at Cancon the whole time - it looks like a lot of fun. God knows how much I'd buy if I went there...

But aren't they charging $2 on anything less than $50 now?

Nothing really on the wish list with them, I actually sold a few games recently. Not terrible games, just games I didn't think I'd play much.

Although I did buy Splendor recently from them, after Shut Up and Sit Down said it was good.
