Looks like Steam are giving away Brothers In Arms - Road to Hill 30 free with any pre-order of the new Brothers In Arms - Hells Highway. LINK to the Steam deal. What I want to know is, is Road to Hill 30 worth a play through?? I'm pretty sure I'll be getting Hells Highway at some stage anyway, so this deal is sounding pretty sweet. Vets, whatcha reckon?
I can recomend it highly. If you have played full spectrum worrior its like a ww2 version of that. OB3R
Quite probably because Steam are the perfect international online distribution company - and forget that "international" means more than Hawaii. Too often these deals are US only - no idea why, I only know that we get left behind once more.
I have seen deals in the recent past where old games are relased free for general use*... US only. Seems that the way they get them free is with additional advertising, not in-game as such, but strapped onto the start. If the advertising campaign is exclusively for a US audience, they get nothing from non-US gamers. That, I can sort of understand. This however, is just narrow minded crap.
rth30 is the first..i like the 2nd myself. has a great little bunch of seperate missions to play other than the single player campaign, almost like a whole nother game in itself...but in all , a great game..why not?..its free...theres a good article about it in this mag Downloading PCGZine Issue 22 - GamerZines
