    I did a search and found nothing on these games, and that made me sad :(

    Both from the same (Swedish) company and occupying different spans of history. You can convert a saved game of CK2 into EU4 and continue your empire.

    I have only played the demo of CK2, but steam wanted too much for the pack at the moment, so I picked up EU4. Pure awesomeness and tonnes of mods available (for both games).

    Some juicy trailers;

    Anyone else playing?

    I've put in 55 hrs on EU3 and only 3 hrs on CK2 - i do prefer EU over CK2 but i havent figured all of the mechanics of CK2 out. Both fantastic strategy games, but i think that both need to have serious gaming sessions to make the most of them - something i dont have the time for at the moment.

    Agreed very much on the serious gaming sessions. I spent 12 hours in one session on EU4's release day... :oops: ...but playing as the Ottoman Empire I finally kicked the Mamluks where it hurts :twisted: :D

    I've been playing CK2 and put in some hours. Still feel like I'm only half way to understanding what I should be doing. Still great fun.

    yeah, I'm back to CK2 a second time, and loving it. If I start a game, though, I can seriously kiss the day away.

    I prefer EU over Ck but the CK-EU game converter gives lots of incentives to play CK.

    Been playing EU since the original first came out back in 2000, I had to get it shipped in as it wasn't initially distributed here.

    Its a great game. There should be a demo there as well if you want a quick sniff before committing yourself. There is also the manuals, but I don't think you can access them before you have a key...

    Has anyone played Game of Thrones mod for Crusader Kings 2? By the looks of it, it's great. Really detailed.

    EU IV: Art of War DLC is out. Looks pretty impressive :thumbup:

    Art of War - Europa Universalis 4 Wiki

    Amongst the free bits - "Over 900 non-European provinces have been added to the game, along with over 100 new nations. China, India, North America have been substantially expanded, while Indonesia, West Africa, Meso and South America have been completely revamped. " :shock:

    Had a few sessions with the Art of War DLC - very nice stuff. Its like another level of depth... hard to explain. I did read one comment that said that this DLC makes EU IV into EU V.
