I've got the base game which I thought was cool. I only put about 20 hours into it before I got distracted by a million other games. I nearly picked up my DLC yesterday, but I still have too many other games in my Steam library waiting for first install.

I really like how they have progressed the strategy genre with CKII.

CK2 seems to be releasing DLC faster than I can complete a playthrough. At least it's usually good DLC that adds content Shame that it's causing issues for the guys who make the game of thrones mod with constant updates

I can understand why Paradox is releasing DLC's like mad. You strike while the iron is hot. And both CK2 and EUIV are still sexy hotties.

yep, EUIV on steam sale at the moment very cheap. I nearly bought it, but already have too many unplayed games. Will wait for future sale.

After smashing through the world in EU3 I couldn't resist while 4 was on sale. Oh yeah.

    I absolutely adore EU4!
It has so many layers of complexity - I've played it for about 150 hours, and I still find myself pausing the game and searching the internet to find out for how long "nationality" will prevent me from changing the culture in one of my newly annexed provinces, or what I can do to increase my country's "base tax" in order to vassalize Brittany (France just doesn't look right without it)!

Has anyone given the multiplayer aspect of the game a shot?

Not yet, Iv'e seen some mp videos and it does look nicely done. I wish I could complete a game but it really does show up how much bad luck I can get in one game lol
