    Welcome Donnell

I'm a little busy at the moment so can't really give you any insight into the game until later. Just fire up the game, go to the Internet bit and wait for a list of servers to pop up and join one that has a low ping for yu with some players in it. You'll soon get the hang of it.

    Welcome to BF42 Donnell!

Head over to Telstra's game arena and download a program called COGS.
This is similiar to the server list you get in BF42 (like gamespy). It gives you a list of the Telstra servers most of us here play on.
All the details are here: http://games.bigpond.com/pc/gettingstarted/howtoplay.php

    This should get your started.
Feel free to play both sides, as you will need to know tactics for both.

    See you online!

Hi mate, what Chumpy said, haven't had time to reply since talking to you in SWG, but follow that link in Chumpy's post and you should be right.

So Donnell - how's your entry into the world of BF1942 going. Have you managed to set COGS up yet? Has Cailith or GD slotted you into a squad yet?

This must be very frustrating for you. If you're around tonight I might be able to help.

You have tried the 'Configure games' tab if it's not automatically finding your games? This allows you to select the drive to search

If I were you I would uninstall BF1942 and reinstall, but this time when it asks whether you want to install Gamespy say no
