I'm a set and forget type of guy. Single player lone wolf. I will find this game challenging for that very reason playing a leader of people and a member of a team. Having the ability to switch characters during combat and then utilising their abilities in combat adds to the challenge.

I guess you could argue when in another body how would you like to play that character and then make changes accordingly, might be the trick for me.

The combat videos look pretty good if you want to take the time to look them over.

Dragon Age: Inquisition a good source of information direct from Bioware.

Dragon Age Wikia is another good place to seek knowledge.

So who is going to get it and which version are you going to get.

I must admit I haven't played the series at all. For some reason I eventually get truly fed up with Bioware games, although I immensely enjoy them while I play them. Right now I'm still recovering from Mass Effect OD, despite it being a year since I finished the second run-through of it. Before that it was the Star Wars games.

I've heard good things about the series, may pick it up. Eventually.

Since Divinity Original Sin turned out so great I think that will cover my RPG needs for a while as well as Wasteland 2 releasing in about a month. EA/Bioware also tend to release a fair bit of DLC so I always feel like I'm better off waiting for a complete GOTY edition.

Bioware's recent track record hasn't been great either and while this looks like a big improvement over recent titles I'd still like to see reviews first.

That said it comes out on my birthday so very possible I'll get it as a present anyway :p

If you do, you can claim it as not your fault! You had to play it by destiny...

I am really looking forward to this game, the COOP aspects look great and make the game a fun time with fellow gamers.

I pre-ordered the game (Deluxe, why not for a few bucks more), for my XBox One. Can't wait, reviews (even after the embargo) are really good, and its look fantastic. Not sure how the Co-Op works, and it'll be a while before I get there - but if anyone ends up with an XB1 and DA:I, drop me a line. Gamertag: DarkLordDravin.

Got it coming for PC, all paid for. Deluxe edition too. Since I haven't had the itch to get a new gen console yet, due to limited library of games and buggy systems I had to go for PC version to max settings out.

I'm holding off for user reviews. After the Dragon Age 2 debacle I can't trust "professional" reviewers, especially when it comes to EA titles.

What debacle was that. I loved it and the previous Dragon Age. I never listen to reviews and just buy games based on my own wants and desires. Have enjoyed them all.

Was nice of them to tell us it had been delayed by over a month..

Walk into EB to get it earlier in the month as I have been away... "Sorry, it has been delayed, now comes out 20 November"

Three days to go! Early embargo review lift is a good sign and the majority of the reviews are fantastic. I got the early access, but tinkering so much with the character creator. Hah. The game is outstanding to look at. So far it's awesome. ;)

Hopefully EA don't balls this up for Bioware like the other recent EA half baked releases.

Been playing non-stop since release. Definitely my favourite Dragon Age so far and I am a crazy fan of the series! DA2 was a little bit of a let down in story and map repetition, but still fun in terms of combat. DAI has surpassed my wildest imagination. The sheer scope of content in comparison to DA2 and even DOA is astonishing. Cannot wait to see what I find around the next corner.

I'm a PC user so I normally don't even look in these sections.. but I'm looking forward to the digital deluxe version being installed here in the near future. I would have been ready for launch if logistics hadn't been fubar'd. :(
