I keep trying to knock on all the available "doors" but they aren't letting me in...even though the buildings are standing there beckoning me! -) TQQdles™
just a FIY: If any of you guys have a buddy key then feel free to throw it my way, would love to try TESO
The graphics aren't going to be so bad I don't want to play, that I know for sure, and I trust Zenimax to make sure their storylines for quests (and overall) are awesome.
How many of you guys know what your doing already? I know i want to roll a Dragon Knight 1hand axe + shield tank as my first toon. But i also want a healer... most likely a Breton templer. What i dont know is do i want to roll these 2 guys together or do i want to finish game with 1 and then roll the other while im waiting to get into raids With the 50+ and 50++ stuff It might mean my templer never gets made..... Just wondering what everyone else is thinking about doing.
I'm going to roll a cc/nuker Sorceror (with frost destro staff and resto staff); and a tanky Dragonknight (sword and board I guess and maybe fire destro staff). I probably will also try an arcane archer type Nightblade (bow and dual wield maybe). Races will depend on what alliance I go primarily. If Daggerfall Covenant (my preferred alliance) Sorceror will be Breton and Dragonknight an Orc, and I will probably make the Nightblade a Dunmer with the the Ebonheart Pact. If primarily Ebonheart Pact then Dunmer Sorceror and Nord Dragonknight and Breton Nightblade. I won't be going Aldmeri Dominion (too much baggage from the single player games).
Altmer Dragon knight or Templar not sure yet. Not sure of the details yet, suffice to say I will be speccing for tanking or healz.
Gotta remember, this game is in the past, before all the crazy junk of Thalmor and such. Long before. Looks like I wont be alone in the Dominion... might have to apply for a captain role or something. Hopefully I will have the time.
Just found this forum. Glad TOG will represent in ESO. My in-game name would surely be Xyth if you happened to get a beta key before launch and if I was already there. <grin> See you there...
Strange, everyone I know has been invited to Beta but still not me. I heard it was really crap last time anyway /crosses arms
Just a heads up, but the way i read things is if you have had previous access to the ESO beta and still have the client on your PC, Just patch it up and try log on this weekend anyway.
cahiry, sometimes their email is a little slow. Got mine a little late today, but I will participate as much as possible this time, minus Saturday, I'll be out of town for most of the day.
A not so gentle reminder that, as far as we are aware, there is still an NDA for this beta and that even disclosing that you have been invited is a breach of this NDA.
Bluesteel, If my account is still there, I can try sending you the keycode that I received in this new email. Buttttt (a Bertha Butt Boogie But)...if they've deleted my account, I'll have to use the new supplied keycode. UPDATE: Sorry Bluesteel. I compared the initial keycode to the one I just received...and they are the same keycode. And since I can log into their forums, my account was saved. I'll search around the InterTubes and see if anyone is having a ESO Keycode contest and PM ya if I find any. -*( Remember to read the various previous Patch Notes on their forums. TQQdles™
Revealing you got an invite is acceptable according to one of the admins on Bethesda's forums. That's about all you can discuss though. Beta Invites - Elder Scrolls Online General Discussion - Bethesda Softworks Forums
That's interesting as the NDA itself specifically says that you can't: But I think we can accept a Bethesda Admin's word on it
