I'm waiting for the Fallout 3 GOTY details as follows:

I have seen details of a 15 October release in Australia and a $100 price tag but the following might be of interest from Kotaku Website.

CDWOW indicates Free Shipping cost but could take 5 - 7 days for delivery. None received items are investigated after 21 days.

Okay so JBHIFI are selling for the normal price as far as I can see.

That is making me think twice about buying from CDWOW who by chance have dropped their price again. PS3/XBOX is $60.95 and PC is $47.95 for the GOTY. Impressive pricing for sure.

Kotaku Website had the details originally concerning CDWOW.

Never bought from them before but at a saving of $40 on the RRP I'm definately tempted.

Blimey PM where do you find the time :)

I was thinking of getting Fallout on PC as most i have spoken to have said that is the system to get it on (mainly due to mods which i would be clueless about) yet having listened to the TOG podcasts i think i might just get the PS3 version at least then i know it wont crash and just play correct out the box.

    LOL I don't.

Usual scenario is I buy the game with delusions of finding time to play and if I am real lucky I get through the first couple of levels. Then my son plays the games, tells me how they were and then I trade them in on new games. "Rinse repeat"

I usually buy games for their multiplayer features. I only finish a single player game if it really grabs my attention (like inFamous for instance) and I can spare the time.

I think the games are UK imports but they could also be Aussie versions.

In either case they will work on the PS3 as no region lock and the savings......as I said before......Impressive.

    Ordered Fallout 3 GOTY.

All versions have glitches bugs and yes fallout 3 does crash on the odd occasion on the PC but use the Quick Save Key and most likly you wont use any progress.

If you get a quest breaking glitch on the PS3 or Xbox your stuffed, at least on the PC you can fire up a console command to fix it.

Be carefull people their may be issues around importing Fallout 3 GOTY from overseas.

Canada and Sweden have now indicated their original save games are not recognised by GOTY which results in them having to start a new game.

I have cancelled my overseas import copy of the game and will pick up a aussie release hopefully tonight.

Will let you all know how it goes after loading.

As it turns out they just emailed me indicating the order can;t be filled anyway as they don;t have enough stock.

Refund is in process. Once I see that come back into my account I will go off and buy the aissue version.

Anyone bought the game as yet.? What experiences are you having with it.?
