using power armour in F03 was almost mandatory but in vegas there was no real point,
The ranger gear was the same DT as most of the power armour and was lighter.

Pretty much ran through both games with a shotgun and snipe rifle/scoped hunting rifle.

Have never worn Power Armour and disagree on the mostly mandatory comment although.........I play on a lower level setting as my reflexes are not as fast as they used to be so need the added time to make a decision and take things out further away.

Stealth and Scoped were my best friends in all the games so far. :D

I hardly ever wore power armor in both. My favorite character to play was Unarmed, using the best spiked knuckles in the game, and wearing the Naughty Nightwear. I would buff up Strength, Agility, Endurance. I'd really buff up Endurance. Then I would just rush all my enemies, and beat them to a pulp. Once you get paralyzing palm, it's game over. I could take on the biggest of baddies, because I would have so many action points that I could get 14 hits in a single use of VATS. At least 2 of those would paralyze the enemy, and if they were still alive when leaving VATS, I would just beat them to death while they lay there.

I also made a brutish guy that wore Raider Armor and used two handed melee weapons, like the bumper sword.

I tried a demolitions expert, but there's just too much collateral damage when all you use are AOE weapons like grenades, dynamite, rockets, or fat mans.

I have also done a sniper, which was ok. Sneak everywhere, and snipe everything. Just wearing regular combat armor. I never really liked how bulky the Power Armor looked.

    100% agree here.

Taken a week of work and warned Adina I'm not available and I still think a week will not be long enough.

In the video you posted above, one of the lead developers said that he has played over 400 hours in game and is still finding things he didn't know about!

    Can not wait!

I'm hoping my 7970 will compensate some for my old i5-750. Although, whilst I am very excited, I might wait a few months before picking it up anyway. You lot need to iron out the bugs for me ;)
