    After reading references to KQ, I thought of making a new thread that lists fan remakes or new versions of retro games, including games that were never made or released. I hope the mods can sticky this and other threads. Here are some; feel free to post more.

    Thanks for pointing this out! I had no idea Wing Commander was in the works. I'll have my eye on that.

    am currently downloading the 1/2 gig U5 remake. looks really good, will let you all know what its like.

    edit: man, need dungeon Siege 1 installed - my disks for that are long gone....hmmm...hoping a mate of mine still has it and I can grab the original from him.

    edit 2: hehe, just ordered legends of aranna. only $13 or so, and there appears to be a few mods around for it now. So I should be able to get my money's worth out of it with the U5 remake too. :) IIRC, the first Dungeon Siege was better than the 2nd anyway. (ooh, I also ordered the Orange Box whilst I was at it, never played HL2).

    looks like there are a heap of freeware there linked to old games. :)

    (actually found this link in the above mentioned U5 remake forums (u5lazarus.com)
