    Hey guys,

While not the newest news, origin is giving away free full versions of Battlefield 1942 in celebration of its 10th year.

Best thing is you for have to buy anything to get it, just install their origin store, set up an account and then go to demos and its right there in all it's nostalgic glory.

This is the vanilla game so it doesn't come with any expansions but c'mon the game that started the Battlefield franchise, going back to WWII..and did I mention its free? Well it's that too.

Unsure if its a limited offer as they haven't specified as it is, but just to be safe I'd pick it up sooner rather than later just to be safe.

Any single player in this version?

Any actual servers about to play it multiplayer?

There is single player, but single player is simply multiplayer maps with bots so no actual story or leading goal, you just kinda go through the maps.

As fr servers there are quite a few going suprisingly, since they have it for free people are getting it left right and center so there are alot of servers actually running, usually wake island but there's quite a few that do rotations
