Anyone seen this, looks very nice. It is being called The Other Battelfield Killer, with Quake Wars obviously being the first.

303, yes it is intended as an online FPS on PC, PS3 and X360.

Gotta love Frank DeLise!!! DC legend!

This is what BF2 would have been if they had let Trauma get into it!

Bugger... thought that may have been a new vid. I'm pretty sure that's got no in-game footage at all. Not sure how they've done it, but it doesn't look anything like the screen shots...

Hopefully some new vids are on the way soon! Looks to be a great game!

There is a fairly lengthy (about 4 pages from memory) article on this in the March edition of Games For Windows magazine. I think it is very close. They also did a comparison between this and QW.

true, though some of the points are valid. And just hoping that to have that big a spread and Kaos doing interviews etc, that it may be closer than we thought :)

Heres a pretty good Fan Site too :)

Couple of intersting key pointers of whats in store:
    • Target sharing, a second person is needed in a vehicle to "mark" the target. Then only the gunner can see it.
    • Inter-vehicle communication.
    • Support role revives people with an adrenaline shot. If you give a live person an adrenaline shot, he'll suffer a heart attack (Sounds like fun :p )

Those comparison questions on the whole look like they were written as being biased to Frontlines from the start, I mean who gives a crap about Live support and a single player element in a game like this?

well I like the idea of it not only being a purely MP game, but having a strong SP campaign aswell. Also hopefully the game supports a descent Co-Op mode so it can be played with mates against bots on a LAN. Thats one thing that BF2142 did right.

Although the Ai in BF2142 was fairly stupid, specially when it came to driving a vehicle.

Inside the back cover of the Stalker manual is an ad for Frontlines.
    Says "Coming August 2007" :)
