    WOOT!!
Went and picked up a Wii today for my birthday. Talked to the boss and she let me get my pressie early.
I didnt get a game other than Sports which comes with it. Im off to Kmart down the road in a moment to get myself a game. Super Mario Galaxy or RE4 me thinks.
My eldest boy and I have been playing bowling most of the arvo. The embarressment of getting beaten by a 4 year old. The shame. How the hell a 4 year old can bowl 190 is beyond me.
Luckily I crushed him the next game 220 - 169. MWAHAHAHAHHA. In your face ankle biter!
hmmmm anyways, must go back and pwn my 4 year old at golf.:)

lol did you get a chance to play? Star Wars looks great - I haven't tried it yet but my kids have been messing with it. They had one of the ones for the GC and really wanted this one for the combos you can mix up.

Our 10-year-old son has already beaten Super Mario Galaxy, got it for Christmas, and then beat it over the school holiday. Yes, we did make him take breaks and give other people turns.

Finally got to play it Star Wars the next night.
Great game. My 4 year old has gotten further in it than what I have. This kid is a video game freak - no idea if its normal for a 4 year old to be good at these games, but he has sure impressed me.
I picked up Mario Galaxy and Resident Evil 4 today. Havent had a chance to play either yet.
The Wii has totally destroyed my PC gaming. Its good to have a break from COD2 though.
    Wii FTW!!!

I got mine through much online hassles (screw amazon, toys r us, newegg.) Got it finally through Walmart.com actually.

Picked up a 2nd set of wii-mote/nunchuck, lightgun and one of the old school wii controllers via gamecube.

Our 9 year old girl is boxxing champ. Twilight Princess is just cool, but gonna take a ton of time. Super Mario Galaxy, wow, just cool, but all that 3d thinking can be a headache. Soul Caliber Legends is fun in 1 player mode, but in versus mode its sorta blah with split screens.

Motor Kombat on MK: Armageddon is just raw. Cod3 & Umbrella stories are also good, but sorta different to get used too.

    Basically, I love our Wii.

Mario Galaxy & Zelda Twilight princess are pretty much mandatory and you cant go wrong with them. The music for Mario is just groovin. Zelda, I cant get enough of.

I spend alot of my time on Mortal Kombat though with my son. I usualy wake the kids up at 6am for school, but here lately I been waking the boy up at 5:15 or 5:30 so we can play Kombat for an hour before the bus gets here.
