Title says it all.. For those who weren't lucky enough to get the Aug blueprints from the DZ vendor, there's an awesome Aug for sale (arguably one of the best SMGs) with good talents and a good damage roll now.

To be more specific, the talents are Brutal, Vicious and Meticulous. The first is awesome, the second is not too bad, and the third isn't completely useless, so it's definitely an upgrade for the 99% of us who don't have god rolls on a 204 Vector or 204 Aug BP

Costs 800+ Phoenix credits so time to start grinding those missions!

Edit : Hit me up if you want company with those missions, should be able to carry if you're not that geared :)

Bought it based on those god rolls of talents and then 11.3K DMG ... I used in the 2 daily missions and hardly had to reload that 3rd Talent Meticulous does seem to work very well turned my 48 round mag into a 58 +

My Vector was 182 with decent talents but as you say the crafting and trying to get a roll like this on any BoO or DZ blueprint would be painful ..

Hard part for me is trying to get a scope i can see down as using the small RDS so not good at distances .. Cant seem to find a yellow c79 i think it is called

I need to pay more attention to the bullets remaining in my magazine! I have a habit of reloading after every enemy kill or encounter (carried over from CS), which makes the Meticulous proc wasted for me a lot of times

I do that sometime as well but AUG i feel isn't such a sprayer like the Vector so short bursts normally good then i noticed i did get more out of mag .. Have to also watch closer to get exact amount of increase but feels like i am definitely not reloading as often..

My critical damage is 28k to body and 59k to head without using pulse ... I think head with pulse on was 73k approx ... So is a good weapon and stable

It's not that hard when you're looking at a pure DPS build. I've pushed everything out of electronics and into firearms, and recalibrated for crit damage / chance wherever possible.
Firearms at 3400, stamina at 2600 and electronics at 1200. 45% crit chance, 62% crit damage and 165% headshot damage, with my Aug equipped. I'd like to get my crit chance a bit higher though. But, for now, I'm pretty happy with it. I can shred any npc in the DZ and with 62% damage mitigation and a tad under 80k health I am doing pretty well against rogues.

200 pheonix credits, only 650 to go. Is this achievable before we lose it without my triggering a divorce from playing all the time?

To be more accurate, the right mods will boost your DPS enormously.

Things like fire rate, magazine size and stability are just as important as crit chance and crit damage when it comes to the AUG. I suggest you use the firing range to fine tune things.

i like mine at present but sit is only 165,000 dps but crit damage is 62K .. my mag is 97% size + 36% crib damage .. i wonder if rate of fire which decreases DPS is better option but that drops crit damage .

The firing range only tunes by points but doesn't show what it does against a NPC.. You would think DPS is better as long as you land each shot but some say crib damage is ..

Hence not sure what is the best way to spec

My point about using the firing range is that the DPS stat on your inventory screen is still unreliable and the only way to get actual data is to shoot targets and do the math as per Skill-Up's excellent YouTube channel suggests.

With regard to crit chance/damage, you still have to land hits in order for them to crit, so ignoring things like stability will gimp your SMGs DPS in the long run.

I need a simple way to compare. Having to test and check isn't my idea of a game, there is eve for that.

    Thanks,

I note the site doesn't like answers like this though:

    Weapon Damage: "Lots"
Accuracy "Pretty good in bursts but pulls high quickly"
Likely headshot chance "Depends on the amount of alcohol I've had"

Still, referring to an external site seems like a deficiency in the game design.

    Thankyou for the lols.

I don't see any issue with using an external site. Even wow requires a third party add-on to show DPS. And this site allows you to input numbers based on knowledge of your abilities. I.e the headshot chance.
