22 hours, not much better. :(

Had it on my PS3 and only got 1/3rd the way through. Can't wait to see this thing modded up and working with Oculus Rift.

Pre-load started this morning but its downloading at like 1.5mbps (12 hrs to go or something).

Will there be a separate GTA V subform on TOG? Took me forever to find this little thread! Given the number of posters (and even more when its officially released), I'm sure there will be a lot of current (and future) TOG'gers playing it. Anyway, looking forward to catching up for some online GTA madness.

hence my question about something specific to PC players. With the release of GTA V in 4 odd days, I"m sure interest is going to skyrocket.

42 minutes for my download, I'm going to have to call the service, this speed will not do.

Might have to move to Japan if you want what Heya has!

I think it'll be quicker for me to fly to Heya's place and download it there on disk and then fly back before my crappy IINET speed has downloaded 60GB here.:mad:

lol yeah TPG in Brisbane is ehhhh.....okay. I mean, 2 mbps on a good day but more like 1.5 mbps on average. ah well, can't complain. Back in the day I started on dial up and used to download 500mb patches for Desert Combat @ 5 kbps :)

    still unlimited for $60/month...can't complain

I'll be in this as well (signed up for the crew) but given that it's a 60gig download, I'm on slow-as-crap copper, and its school holidays so the house will be full of hyperactive sub 10 year-old kids and I wont get to play the moment it's unlocked: I think I'll buy a physical copy at EB or JB's. :)

I'm scheduled for 'virtual' training on Singapore time. Already have the preload down so should get a few solid hours in before 14:00.

I have the PS3 version with at least 20 hours in, so I'm not itching for the game. I'm sure there will be significant differences but the core would be much the same. I'm looking forward to see what the modders can make of it and especially looking forward to Oculus Rift support and it's release.
