Can those of you playing PvP servers please list the server you're playing? I only enjoy these survival games when there is an element of risk and I'm happy to jump from fleshtown to another server if it means playing with TOG
Pootling around on a PvE server at the moment - but if anyone from TOG is running in PvP in the Aussie time zone I'm keen to join in.
I made a thread in the TOG FPS private section for discussion on various TOG H1Z1 activities in the game Link to H1Z1 thread helpful navigation tips from a dev on reddit
EDIT: got the standard version and created character on Plague. Can't seem to connect to TOGTS. Looking to group up ... add "Zatara" to your Steam friends list. I'm about to buy H1Z1 ... should I get the $20 Basic or $40 Premium version? I'll join the PVE players on Plague until I get a good feel for the game, then jump onto Fleshtown for my adrenalin fix. Cheers!
I really don't know how all the zombies fit in a crate the size of my fridge LOL. Anyway be careful opening crates as some are bugged and will kill you on attempting to open them. Found my first quest last night but it was too late to finish. Hoping for something good.
Sorry for shooting my arrows at you the other night Rogue! Had a blast playing though, will hopefully jump on Fleshtown again tonight.
OK this game is definitely looking to be one of the best ever. Patches are coming thick and fast in response to player feedback at a rate I've never seen in an alpha before but the one that I love is this -: If a player corpse remains unlooted the inventory transfers to a nearby zombie. i.e. you become a zombie. How cool a feature is this? More to be done of course but this blows away pretty much every other survival game on every front. The only thing I really miss is more secluded/hidden areas to build in. Been playing lonewolf PVP on Winchester.
That is a pretty cool feature! Jump on TS if you get lonely, we have a channel down the bottom of the channel list and it will display which server we are currently on. The other night it was Flesh(something - cannot remember the full name :w)
Fleshtown, and it was pretty fun running around around with a bunch of toggers. Should be even better once they fix the loot bug.
I can't believe that I didn't scroll up two posts to find out what the server name was...posted by me !!!! Old age is officially here
Loving the game. Check out this really cool interactive map @ http://www.h1z1db.co.uk/map/ They also have recipes @ http://www.h1z1db.co.uk/recipes/
Thanks for sharing Rogue! I started a list of remote loot locations that I can now toss. The H1Z1DB map doesn't display some really remote mountain cabins (i.e. near -2900,3700) which is OK with me. These are really great resources. Thanks!
Has anybody on Fleshtown started a base yet? I'm inclined to build a safe house for stashing gear somewhere around Dragon Lake. But I still have a lot to learn about the map.
The problem is that there is not really any such thing as a safe house at the moment. If you want to stash gear you are better off storing it on an alt, or burying it underground in a hidden/obscure spot.
Going to stash all my guns n ammo in a nice spot I found just west of ruby lake. It's good for me to run to after heading into cranberry. I'll just need to make sure that nobody follows me
I think the devs have toughened up doors with the recent patch. I tested a couple of hidden bases and quit because I didn't want to ruin my axe. Bare fists didn't work for me on wooden doors.
Bit of trivia, if you pull all the fittings out of a car and log out with the doors locked you log back in standing next to it, if your lucky. I was, until I pulled up and did a bit of juice crafting and came out of the inventory to find flames coming out of my jeep, arrows will kill your car very quickly. Blew up lost rifle , pistol, axe and a bunch of metal bars, not happy, be warned.
