With my garb on I would be encouraging Way, Tri and Croc to all turn up WITH their high heels and favourite dress.

Oh well wayfarer, by taking ya wifes name, isnt that sorta like wearing ya wifes bra's and undies etc?
If so, well, we are fair to all and are a understanding group, just dont wear em to lans etc ok !!!!!

I must admit, when "LoneWife" entered TOG (April), within three weeks Vampira had joined. I'd returned from o'seas work, and I suddenly thought...

"Kewl ! Chicks with Guns!!!" :p

(I'm a very literal person and the nick "LoneWife" just threw me..... duh! )

So I'm gaming away in full ladder matches, hearing Vamp's voice on TeamSpeak, assuming LoneWife's is somewhere in the rabble as well...
One day, I meet LW on the pubs with TS:

    "Hang on. She's MALE !" 8O

    OK :? . LoneWife is either -

    a) Gay. Hence the girly-name

    b) Not Gay, but a cross-dresser oops cross-namer ..... :? /me is so confused

    c) A real shit-stirrer to his wife, MOCKING her with his on-line nick.
"You ALWAYS play that game!!! I am so lonely ! I am a Lone Wife." Yes, I thought it might simply be a vicious and callous nick.

I was further perplexed 'cos no-one else had questioned the nick, at least when I was listening...

I kid you not. This is what I thought over the last months.
(Ahhhh the controversy !!! Iiiii love it !)

Hello Way, bye bye LW. I'd prefer it if you ditched the LoneWife tag, I always found it vaguely confusing.
Reading all the transvestite flavoured posts above, I'm just very glad that BF does not (yet) have lots of replacement "skins" for soldiers. Can you imagine the landing craft full of pink chiffon?

    Hangon...

I thought Croc was our fluffy bunny slipper and pink tutu wearing member/mascot. :D

    Zlip is our dolphin

    I'm the boat beacher

    Bennett is the demolitions expert

    Cailith provides Bennett's ammo

HellDad is our SAGN of the BF forums

So with all that... the logical conclusion to come through from all this is that:

Way is our master illusionist :)

    /me starts a new poll...

POLL: Should LoneWife change his TOG name to Wayfarer?

    1. Yes.
    2. No.
    3. Neither - his new name should be WifeFarer.
    4. Double Neither - his new name should be PinkBits.
    5. Chiffon candy tastes good.

while everyone is comin' out, i'll bleet like a sheep and follow the pack -> when i first played with LoneWife, i kept misreading his name for the first week, and kept calling him LoneWOLF... soz mate.

    LOL@Derelict

Has anyone else noticed that it's a lot easier to fall off ships when they are moving. Be careful TOGlidites. In fact can we get a sticky about the dangers of water in some maps. :)

I have stacked planes trying to take off from moving carriers. It's quite embarrassing, especially with a passenger in the back seat

Well Wayfarer, it had to come out some time.

I respected your initial wish and didn't go public with this knowledge.
Being accused of favouritism is a risk when u are part of TOG and at the same time act as a gameop on GA.

We know that such a thing would not happen but I did understand where u were coming from.

Indeed now would you desire to change your nick :?:

If so let me know and I can change it.

    Cheers

 Good for you Wayfarer (nee LoneWife). I bet you feel a whole lot better with that burden off your shoulders. And what's more...noone seems to be worried about it anyway :)

I also have a confession to make...

    ...I like Neighbours

There I said it. It's out. I'm out. There's no turning back.

    I feel so dirty...

LOL@BARAB. That reminds me of a skit in "The Late Show" with Rob Sitch, Mick Molloy et al on the ABC.

All these fellas go out bush to learn how to express themselves better as men. Rob Sitch who is the organiser of this camp encourages them to express themselves out loud.

And so they each come out with: "I like ... women's tennis!" and "I like ... Sally Fields!" :D
