Age; 75 Located in the High Monaro; i.e. snow in winter, of Southern New South wales, Australia. I was told about TOG by a friend in our Whirlpool Forums web site. I love retro-gaming and have built the following game rigs; Windows 95 but not on the net. I can't get the drivers for a 10/100 LAN card to fire up. And all on the net ; Windows 98SE; Windows XP SP3; Windows 7, and Windows 10 on a big tower and on a lap top so I could play old games in their native environment without messing around with Vitrualbox or DOSBox. I'd like to get a DOS 6.22 rig up and running but it's just too much to get drivers and so forth to mesh and work. (I still reckon DOS 6.22 was about the most stable platform ever) I'm a Command and Conquer freak. Second preference would be a toss up between Hearts of Iron, Fallout or Empire builder type of games. Also I have nearly 100 other old games from 1988 forward loaded on the rigs and play here and there. But C&C is my main love. Having finished building the PC's I'm in the process of heaving out sticks of RAM, video cards, cables, connectors, SATA driver cards and other bits and pieces. I'm looking forward to the journey here.
