Aces High is so addictive , i'm getting much better at flying , everytime i go on a sortie , i get at least a kill or an assist sometimes both , haven't done any of the group missions as of yet but they happen all the time , the in game voice coms are coming in handy , i'm really starting to understand the pilot lingo being thrown around...
if any TOGgers want to give it a try join the Bishops team
    "cheers max"

I went on a bombing run with Jackal the other night...wow!

With over 7 gun turrets to man, there is plenty of action...he piloted while I manned the guns, mostly the ball turret and the tail gun.

Keep in mind, even if the two week trial expires, you can still use your copy of the game to host a server for up to eight people- plenty enough for a fun dogfight!

I used to play Warbirds2 for a while but got tired of getting my butt handed to me by retired Air Force pilots. The only way I could get kills was to fly a bomber in a straght line and man the rear gun, not fire at pilots as they approached for an "easy kill," then unload on them when they got too close and tried to force the kill rather than break off and approach properly.

I haven't played a plane sim since my commodore 128. After a few nights I could make some kills in a fighter plane. Also I just use the mouse and keyboard. Since most planes are prop not jet, physics limitations (black out, etc) limit that type of problem. It is more about angles and friends atm.
