    Hi all,

As I am getting really REALLY close to pulling the pin and getting a PS4 just so I can play Destiny, I thought I would ask a question in here first.

    "So how is the game?"

I am really enjoying it on the Xbone. Nice game to end the long day with.

Came across this elsewhere and tweaked it a little bit but it basically sums up my initial thoughts

Is it the second coming? No.
Is there room for improvement? Of course.
Is it a fun game? Most definitely.

Also I put it in the very MMO lite category. It is online but the MMO part of it is small and very instanced from what I have experienced so far.

loving it .. cross between COD / HALO and WoW .. i could never get into WoW with pixies and fairies running around but this will capture all sorts of audiences because of the types of gameplay it offers and the characters are very Star Wars like ...

Then you have multiplayer .. cant describe that you have to see it for yourself

It's not an MMO, not even close. It's more like Halo with a touch of Diablo.

Super awesome fun though... even if I get totally spanked in the Crucible.

It's a really fun game and shines as a CO-OP shooter... Especially with TOG members ;)

It can get a little repetitive at times, but this is the kind of game that makes you want to keep doing certain things over and over just to see if you can get better equipment and increase your skill.

I haven't played the Crucible yet, but of course, I will since I took the standard Crucible bounty they offer new players (win five Control (Domination) matches).

    I recommend it.

It's not that revolutionary, but the art direction and atmosphere is top notch. It immerses you into the world and like I said, you want to keep playing which is what any good game (design) should do, IMHO.

    Excellent game IMHO.

FPS element is very smooth. Shooting mechanics are very nice. The RPG / MMO elements are a nice touch, and I am loving the idea of character progression and customization / builds. Real depth to the gameplay.

Bungee seem reasonably committed to content, so I think its got legs. Time will tell of course.

    Hello All,

New here, just signed up. I am in the same boat. I have been debating getting the PS4 or a video card upgrade for my PC. I really want to give Destiny a try as well as Shadow of Mordor. I am going to head out today after work and get the PS4.

Look forward to seeing you in game.

    HI Guys,

I'm new here. Just waiting for my TOG application in the Barracks and I will be signing up with you soon. Loving the game so far, only Level 7.

My only concern is the lack of chat functions. I haven't joined any fireteams so I don't even know how the chat handles but realistically if 2 people are dropped in the same instance they should be able to chat straight away without messing around with party sessions etc.
