Hi, just started playing this week, having a whale of a time. Few of us came over from BF4 to play a little minecraft and we've been at it nonstop this whole week. Met a few other players online every now and again and everyone is real friendly. There are four of us who are playing together and notice that the lag is quite bad at certain times. One of our compatriots cannot build fences and we are redigging blocks all the time. Is that from the lag? and if so would a server restart help alleviate the problem. Any help you can give us would be great. And if you are ever in the neighborhood of Heya Bay, (yes, I've named it ) come on in for some freshly baked bread or a steak or too. cheers, heya ps. what's the deal with not getting any meat off the sheep?
Sheep dropping mutton when killed was added in 1.8. To help with block lag, use a faster pickaxe, the lag seems to multiply the time taken to break a block, so a diamond pick with efficiency enchant on it has less lag than a stone or iron pick it seems.
