In this post I am going to recommend multiplayer maps of all sorts that I believe would be good for the division to play once a fortnight or month to either take a break from the main servers if you wish or maybe as a division team building event.

Many will be of varying types, and are as follows.

    * Adventure - Take a journey as an adventurer/s on a quest.
    * Survival - How long can you survive ?
    * Puzzle - Like a challenge to make you think a little more than a usual map would ?
    * Parkour - Jumping from one block to the next or over lava sound like you ?
    * Creation - Would you like to go to an amusement park or maybe on a cruise ship ?
    * Game - Like PvP or maybe a game of minecraft golf ?

The first of many that I will post is an Adventure map.

Lol. Each to their own. We can accomodate switching to other maps on the servers every now and then. We have been doing this in the past, e.g. TOGlympics, Hogwarts map. A bit of change is good.

Keep up the suggestions D3lthar and we can organise something perhaps over Easter.

No prob. I have seen vids of the Walls. It is an interesting PvP challenge, but knowing where everything is in advance is a big advantage.

    Keen for this.

I've always wanted to play the Vechs' maps multiplayer, namely Super Hostile Race for Wool # 2 - Direct fire. Needs enough players to even teams and keep the action up but looks like heaps of fun.

[CTM][Collection] Vechs' SUPER HOSTILE Series - Minecraft Forum

    * from the map page - My second multiplayer Super Hostile map. Two teams race against each other to complete a miniature Victory Monument! This map is more heavily focused on direct combat than the first RFW map, and has many TNT cannons and bow and arrow supplies to blast the other team.

Basically two identical lanes made in MCedit floating in the air, lined with cannons and stacks of bow and arrow supplies, within range of each other.
Not a straight forward race either, players need to be crafty, watch for mobs and projectiles from the other team whilst collecting the coloured wool to build the monument. Basic farms/food is supplied but the rest has to be found and crafted.
The only hard rule is you can't jump lanes to get at the other team, all the fighting takes place at range. Requires cooperation within teams and some quick thinking and building/crafting to win.
There are some great but long vids around of it in action.

Okay, D3lthar, since you were the one who suggested this, what map do you recommend we try on the Easter long weekend?

And which is not convenient to people? Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Monday? Depending on the world, it could be day-long or at specific times (to allow multiple runs).

I'll have a look through the maps tomorrow and put up a list, as for day/night i'm happy with most times as it will be a quiet Easter for me.

All of the maps I linked support multiple players.
Some require less numbers than others, it really depends upon how many people are interested in playing.
