Any interest in this game? Can't see mention of it here. Looks like it may be a nice PvP mmo(with fps elements) with a nice combat system and uses the Unreal engine. Anyway link to the website :- Age Verification | Mortal Online
yeah it is one I want to try just because, but I have so many games on my radar, it is going to be tough and costly.
Well i would try this game if i wasnt so tired of hack/slash fantasy mmo's lol but i hope this game turns out well but from what i know about it , it looks just like another dark fall online hehe
Well essentially it is another darkfall, but hopefully without the hype and the fail. It is true though, too many damn games coming out in the next while; running out of fingers to stick in pies
There've been a few posts about it here and there, there's some TOGs beta testing it now I think; although they probably couldn't go into any detais on that.
ha! I wouldn't compare the two. To the OP, yes there are some of us out there. I'd also like to let everyone know that preorder goes on sale 29 June 2009. Please remember though that the actual release date is after October and you'll be paying upfront. You will get access to all stages of beta however.
Now you have raised my interest too. Its not much for a look at a game is it. I need two games going to keep me busy and have never tried this genre' before.
It will cost you a bit for a look at this game. You'll need to pay the full retail price which will work out between $80-100AU most likely. It's not a genre for everyone but I don't think there's anything that competes with it in the market. I'm a UO fan though and haven't been as happy with an MMO since including DFO.
Yes Robert but at $4 a schooner thats only 25 beers, less than a night out ! For probably more fun Or for another comparison 6 packs cigarettes. I'm not even going to start on going out on a date. Maybe 1/4. And then there is no guarantee.
I'm very confident this game will have something amazing to offer us Prep! I also appreciate that the devs are being honest with us and saying that not all features will make release but it's a nice set they have.
I'm ex [E], never an officer, just cannon fodder, after UO, no bad blood, and only played a few games with them. And .oNe has always been something I thought about. Now you know I'm a dinosaur. I dismissed gvg and pvp as a waste of time because of Aussie TZ and slow internet issues where I live. They can't be as hard core anymore due to people being older etc. and I never was. But back in the day, they were both the shiznit. TOG is the best bet for anyone wanting to play games over the long haul I think. And mortal online may prove to have some exciting advantages. We need to see how accessible it is hardware wise to most gamers. End game DFO has some content that I have now seen which might cause you to re-visit your opinion there at some time. The community itself is the issue more than anything else, and the alignment system, but I do not wish to hijack this thread. So, therefore Hardware needs to play MO? MO lore? TOG agenda? Can you join PVP Central and we can amalgamate links there under your post?
I'm keeping an eye on it but I don't plan to be a guinea pig for it. I'll see how it goes after launch and more importantly, how the ping is from Aus. I am hoping for a good new fantasy MMO soon though.
