I am replaying Skyrim again. This time I rolled an Orc that I am fashioning into a crafting, greatsword wielding, heavy armored beast! However, I probably wont play orc in ESO. I'm all about wood elf, and following my queen Kate Beckinsale.
Probably not... but having seen a bit more around their lore I'll admit I'm tempted. For those that haven't seen them, there are some good primers up on YouTube. Fanboys will probably dispute elements, but I found them a great way to get a bit more into the world (particularly as I evidently forgot most things from playing ES previously. http://m.youtube.com/playlist?list=...ylist?list=PL7pGJQV-jlzCPBUy9uAXQUXZ4UBaDLKS5
Yes, I am going to play an Orc, base will be caster/mage style. Will be interesting to see what kind of builds are available.
Depends highly on racial differences, such as base or max skill increases, racial armour and weapons and most of all, skills. Though given the general history of orcs in ES I would expect orcs to have a strong focus on heavy armour, blacksmithing and axe/hammer weapons. So yeah, ill play one, just not sure if it will be toon 1 or toon 8. Gotta find a good Orc name though.
Breton Mage for me..........although tempted to have a go at Breton Archer as well. Can you have more than one toon?
The Dragon Knight fire staff combo looks pretty cool for a ranged tank. An example of it can be seen is this dev session: Dev Play Session -- ESO Group Content - YouTube
I'll be making an Orc Dish Washer who one day will become a short order cook. After a few levels then I may get him addicted to cocaine and give out hand jobs in the parking lot to support his habits, which there will be many of...OR I might make him a tank. I haven't decided yet.
I'm not going to worry about min/max'ing with racials etc. I have a vision for my orc and will run with that. I have not been in the beta so I have not been influenced by that yet and I haven't really read up on a lot of the specifics. I have the name sorted and am wondering if we only have one name or whether we can do first and last names at creation. I want to jump into it fresh which means even if there's an open beta I may not participate in it. Will I have the willpower to do that... not sure yet lol
i am thinking the same thing. Beta's have kinda wrecked a couple of games for me lately, too much exposure early on I will hold out til headstart ...
I can tell you with out breaking the NDA that there is no official first and last name, but you can put I think it was up to 3 spaces in your name to make a first and last and possibly a middle
" I remember you guys saying that you can have both a first name and a surname. Will you also take into consideration allowing a fixed list of prepositions or middle names, or do you think it’s too much? Characters like Mjoll the Lioness and Argonians have multi-word names. – Phane You can use more than one space in your character name, so the examples you picked are all viable. In fact, the current limit is a maximum of four hyphens, apostrophes, or spaces in total, so you can come up with all kinds of names, like Nh’yen the Ter-Grol. This should be especially convenient for players who want lore-based names for their Argonian or Khajiit! " From the ask us anything on there site.
