Greetings all from sunny, hot, humid, rural, sandy. . .Florence, SC.

My name is Scott; my nickname is normanpaperman. Fine by me if you save yourself some keystrokes and just call me Norm. Norman Paperman is the main character from the book “Don’t Stop the Carnival†by Herman Wouk. Norman was a middle aged executive who decided the heck with it ALL and ran off to a small Caribbean island, bought a broken-down old hotel and tried his best to make a go at it. That would be me, with the exception, I do not have enough money to buy a hotel, so once I get to paradise, I guess I will sell tee-shirts on the beach.

I am divorced and just turned 45 two years ago. I am an Author and am employed by a fortune 500 company as a DBA and Application Developer.

I played my first computer game just 9 months ago; my good friend Mercury (who I am in the process of convincing HE TOO needs to join TOG) introduced me to MOH. I do not even want to tell you all how long it took me to get through that game; but somewhere along the way I was hooked! I began to play online when I got BFV, which was several months ago. I play nearly every evening, often times late into the night.
    My primary game IS BFV.

I have a Dell Dimension 4800, fully loaded; and play over a broadband cable connection.

I have read the FAQ. . .thanks, that saves me asking a whole lot of questions that are now answered; and have read, and agree to the AUP.

Now. . .can someone point me to the front lines!?!?!

G'day mate. Welcome to TOG. One of the admin weenies should have had a change of colostomy bags soon, so your membership won't be too far off. Head on down to the BFV forums once your membership has been completed, and get the attention of Cornbread. Read the stickies in there relating to the US squad, and that will let you know what additional software you'd need to make your gaming experience a lot better.
