Has anybody compiled a list of everyone and what servers they play on? I'm starting to get dizzy trying to keep up with who is where.

Yeah there is a thread, i'm on my phone now, but in the morning I will get the list updated for us all. I will rename it something like "Sim city player list".

OK LINK has been updated with all the names of ppl that have posted in the public forums, for non public you can find a list HERE.

I will do my best to keep this updated, maybe its time for our own forums?? this is messy.

Well I must say I am really disappointed in the quality of this release. The game is barely playable once you get a half decent city. As a toy it is fun but it is so broken I really cannot imagine how it got any reviews over a 5. It makes me really wonder about reviews from major sources.

I have continual major gridlock, with delivery trucks stuck out on highways between cities for days and days of real time. Casinos running out of water and shutting down with 70 plus surplus produced in my city and with purchasing others water also turned on from earlier. Almost no income coming in from 4 20k profitable casinos. There are other things as well but you get the idea. A few of these things may be user error but if so, the solutions are so obtuse as to make me wonder if I can be bothered.

I also have the game installed on two different OS. Funnily enough even though this is an always online game neither OS versions knows about the other games that are being played. I was really hoping the save was all in the cloud but alas it is not working like that at all for me.

I would advise lovers of SimCity to wait a while. I am very upset I payed these guys for such a shoddy product and I did not even experience the start up issues. I thought I had waited them out and did not know about the crippling gameplay bugs all the negatives seemed about connection issues. I will still play it and try to figure out if any of the issues are just user error but I feel seriously duped. Please wait and do not reward these guys with your hard earned.

In regards to using it on 2 different computers. Ensure that you are logging into the same server on both pc's. On first log in the launcher will pick an empty server, ensure you select the server button on bottom left of the launcher. It will bring up a list of servers, a little city symbol will be beside the server name if you have a city on that server.

The game does appear to have significant bugs. Hopefully they will iron them out quick enough. Although I am enjoying it so far.

Water is acknowledged as broken. Rain is supposed to replenish it but does not right now.

Traffic and recycling fix is incoming soon in a 'big patch'.

One way you can replenish water is sewage treatment plant. makes infinite water :D so two plants in close proximity and you will never have water problems.

Seems to be hard to keep up with what's going on in the region, the income region chat thing seems to be poor at best.

I really want to be able to set up a permanent gifting chain between cities. i.e: setup city A to always selnd the plastics it produces to city B, rather than having to manually do it every time.

I have 3 cities going alright i suppose, one just hit the 40k pop but frigging still only making about +5k.
Workin on getting better at it but takes time to learn heh

Now that im getting somewhat confident at, does anyone want to join me?

Are there any TOG people who are still playing who can tell us if the new 2.0 patch has actually fixed many of the problems people were experiencing?

I'll be way more inclined to play with offline mode being an option.

That's interesting, I'm sure. I read that they'd been trying and canned it because it just wasn't possible due to the way regions were processed or something, only a month or so ago.

I've been liking the Simcity : Cities of tomorrow DLC. Can't quite get the hang of the perfect megablock. Just as an aside. I was watching Dredd the other night and couldn't help but think of the comparisons of megacity one and simcity. Just without the drugs.

    Just another Simcity video....
