When sneaking you get the Hidden in brackets [ ] that move in and out.

Does it mean your exposed when the brackets are at their widest? Or something different (like sound)?

The further apart the brackets are, the more hidden you are and therefore less likely to be spotted.

[ HIDDEN ] is better than [HIDDEN]

The same applies to [CAUTION], with the further apart the brackets the closer you are to being hidden once again.

Q is the default for V.A.T.S. on PC. I have no idea about controllers for the console versions.

I find VATS both good and confusing, it appears you need a massively high perception to be able to hit accurately!

I love V.A.T.S, there is nothing quite like sneaking up behind three enemies near each other, hitting V.A.T.S and melee all three in quick succession.

And / or being surrounded, pick of the two enemies on you right then swing around out of V.A.T.S and focus on the rest of the group.

I love VATS. I have a laser rifle however I find that I favour a legendary 10mm pistol a lot more.

Sneak up to a patrol of 4 people and one shot everyone, it's great :)

I'm only in my late 20's but really looking forward to getting a gause.....

    That was achievement bad.

I am still running around with a combat rifle. Have got an alien zapper but nothing else really good.

Alien zapper can be modded on workbench to take fusion cells as there is more alien ammo after you run out
