My PS4 just arrived a day ago and so far so good, playing DCUO, Resogun(fantastic game). Officially retired my PS3, original fat model.
As a PSN Plus member I am playing the free games given to members, so I havent purchased any others.
Remote play...oh finally remote play! Owner of both PSP and Vita, remote play on Vita has worked wonderfully. Also the PSN App available for my tablet(android) is nice also.
I did get the camera, which I havent really used except for facial recognition and voice commands. You can use the headset/earbuds plugged into controller for voice commands also, better than shouting across room.
    PSN=Erukul

    G'day,

I grabbed a PS4 as well. Finally got the time to set it up on the 20th of this month. So far havnt done much more then grab the "free" PSN Plus Games and create a USA PSN Account and link it to the PS4 just so that I can get access to Hulu Plus on it...and see just how much of a price disparity there is between Aus and USA pricing. My PSN is Aussienomad.

    Regards,
    B

EDIT: Update...now has Killzone, War Thunder, Assassins Creed and Need for Speed Rivals all downloading atm

My non-gamer wife managed to surprise me with a PS4 for Christmas. I assumed it wouldn't happen because she didn't pre-order, but she must have found one of the last ones in Australia!

I haven't unpacked it yet and were at the in-laws for lunch, so I'm not sure when I'll get the chance, but I'm looking forward to it!

I had 2 pre-ordered that I was able to pass on to friends for Xmas.

Now that I have steam running on any tv in the house I want and couple that with the xbox controller for windows I decided not to get one for now.

The only thing that might change my mind is if some really good console only games come out, the one I am watching now 'Destiny' doesn't drop till near on the end of 2014. By then the price will have dropped and there will be bundles.

I played the PS4 when my friend took it off me, not missing out on much. Don't get me wrong BF4 looked amazing on it but again I can play that on my couch from my PC if I want.

Having said all that I do have another one due in January if anyone wants it, I live in Perth WA, we can just meet at the store and you can buy it.

I bought one for the kids, they have Knack and Skylanders (Swapforce) so far.

Also have the PS3 and PS2 and Wii, and Nintendo 3DS.

I never play on any of them, I prefer the FPS style game and just cannot use a controller to play FPS.

Best class is the monk for me. Typically I play a female that wears a nighty and uses spiked knuckles. Good endurance and agility. Just charge all the enemies and beat them down, even as they are shooting. Use the VATS and paralyzing palm strike, they all die quickly.

I owned an Audio/Video business for 22 years, one of the many valuable lessons I learned from that experience was-Never buy a First Generation Production Model. Think of First Gen as “Beta” and Second Gen as “Gone Gold”

Hopefully when I buy my Second Gen PS4 there will be a Penguin (Eagle Eye Mouse/Keyboard Emulator for Consoles) will be out as well.

Hello Console Talkers. Thought I'd throw in my 2 pennies.
I plan on winning my PS4 in a competition this year.
After winning around 10 consoles in the last 24-36 months, I'm backing myself in.
The only thing that can go wrong is if I win an XBone before a PS4.

    :)

PS4 for me. Only like one title on the One (Halo) so not really going to buy one any time soon.

Now also have Infamous Second Son, which is excellent and I wholeheartedly recommend.
