One more day yet, but it'll be an encore sale I suspect.

I think the xmas sale has made alot of CC's over heat this year lol.

Thank goodness xmas in but only once a year, we all have enough games now that we will most likely forget what real life is all about :) if we havent already :p

Depending on how old your kids are i have to say there is some very very seriously major bad language in Mafia II :) the "F" word is worn out in the cut scenes and you even have the use of the "C" word at one point!

Both games are awesome though, im playing through joes adventures, glad i waited till they were on special offer, enjoying joes expansion pack.

Final day today of the sales then :) just as well ive abused my CC far more then i intended but at least i will have a nice lot of games to see me through until SW TOR arrives :)

Mostly repeats from the rest of the week but it gave me a chance to pick up Killing Floor on reflection.

Ok - my take on the whole thing:

    Bought:

    dead space ($5)
crysis wars - for Mech Warrior Living Legends ($10 ripoff - only cause im so eager on MWLL)
Kane & Lynch - CMON! It has multiplayer where you do heists together and can betray your mates to collect more cash - I hope a few bought this! ($5)
Wings of Prey - have to say - best sky and ground gfx, sun effects, and casual gaming friendly ($6) - know nothing about the drm issues or the other issues
Super Meat boy - classic fast twitchy controller action with wicked replays - bloody ($3)
Darksiders - seems a decent action - god of war type thing - which I don't normally play ($?)
Sniper Ghost Warrior - all mates on TS said good things about this- but it wont even start downloading for me in steam - which is a new problem. ($?)

    (?) = cant remember lol

Dead Rising was disappointing to play single player. Waiting for Mako to return from OS to play as coop through.
Lost planet 2 feels terrible too, don't bother.

Most underrated game of the year for me:

Medal of Honor: an improvement in numerous ways on the infantry battle that was in BFBC2. Focusing on different kinds of missions and gameplay, it was greatly improved after it's first beta to launch. The gfx far surpassing the black ops capabilities and also the sound was incredible too. Since the release of Black ops, it is common to see only 2 servers in australia with players filling them. Sad to see but I believe that if investment in this franchise continues then we will see a good contender for that COD monopoly which can only help improve these shooters hopefully.

So heres my full line up, i cant remember how much they were exactly but they were all under £5 (with the exception of divinity 2 which was 50% off @ £14.99

    Darksiders

Dead Space (btw if anyone has bought this and is dismayed about not being able to use arrow keys for moment pm me i found a solution to this prob)

Divinity II - The Dragon Knight Saga

    Zombie Driver

    Zeno Clash

    Supreme Commander 2

Mafia II (DLC's Only had the full game already)

    Killing Floor

Thats about it :) far more then i planned to buy but i couldnt see me not buying those bargains. Normally games on amazon are far cheaper then steam but with the massive savings this year it was impossible to get these games cheaper anywhere else so they had to be bought!

Oops... yeah I've seen some cut-scene footage and I was impressed with the amount of colourful language they used.

    In the end I bought:
Lego Batman (very cool little game) $7.49
    Crysis: Warhead: $11.24
    Flatout pack (3 games): $3.75!!
Batman: Arkham Asylum: $7.50 (loving it!)
Section 8: $4.99 (am loving the multiplayer component of this game)
    Rush: $1.69
Kane and Lynch 2: $4.99. This looks feral
Indie Fantasy Pack: $4.99. 5 games
    FarCry 2: $4.99
    Amnesia: Dark Descent: $6.80
Mafia II + all associated DLC: $29.43

So for around $90, roughly the price of one current title, I have tons of games to mess around with.

Have I mentioned that I love Steam Holiday sales? :)

Hey a few have Section 8 now - I'm from Melbourne also here. I wonder if we could get a local server running for some sessions?
