"After activating the third time your product using TAGES a 30-day timer starts. After 30 days you will get that activation back up to 3 total activations."

Unless you are constantly uninstalling/reinstalling/formatting it will likely be completely transparent.

Stalker: Clear Sky has it and I've never seen it do anything with that.

Don't forget to buy Braid and World of Goo. Can't go past those two ingenious games.

I am only going to buy games that aren't too time consuming. Games that you can spend and hour or so on every now and then.

Has anyone got Trine? Is it any good?

My kids and I love braid. Mostly they love crayon physics deluxe though.

played the demo of trine a while back. it played and looked great. haven't given it a longer run than that though.

Well I got a warning that the conditions of purchase in steam say non-refundable, but as a one off customer relations exercise they gave me a refund, this once. So yeah check games are compatible with your system first. Do not assume because it is for sale on steam and will install when purchased that it is compatible.

Both my 5 and 12 yr old kids, and me enjoy Braid and Trine. World of Goo is good, funnily the one they enjoy the most is Plant's V Zombies which i dont think has gone on sale.

    Today

You now own Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor. (as much as I hate the way it makes tiny updates by making you download 10gb files)

You now own IL-2 Sturmovik: 1946.

You achieved Team Fortress 2: Mutually Assured Destruction, Soldier Milestone 1. (always good to kill unknown!)

    Dec 29
You achieved Half-Life 2: Episode Two: Hit and Run, Defense of the Armament. (yee-ha!!!!!!!! as Jessica in Toy Story 2 would say)

You now own Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena

    Should I buy Half-Life 1: Source ? Only $2.49 today.

I have only played computer games since HL2 came out so I don't know the story in HL1. Hmm..?
