I gathered from a few TOG'ers that it didn't really hold up well for mid-long term play. Not that I've played it myself.

I was wondering about that, but I hadn't liked HL-2 very much so I gave it a miss.

Probably more of a case of steam fever. People have bought so many games they don't have time for this one, except in short bursts.

Yeah, it's hard to argue with those prices. I originally had C&C3 retail (the limited, numbered-edition) and thought EALA had ruined C&C forever - but at those prices, I couldn't help but pick up all of C&C3 and RA3.

We need a self-help group or some sort of a programme to join - "Hi, I'm xyz and I'm addicted to Steam sales." :(

Just realised that even with the sales we get regional pricing. If you go to the steam store in your browser and put ?cc=US at the end you can view and purchase from the US store, save even more by doing this.

For example, Red Faction Guerilla: $34.99 for AU $19.99 for US, Medieval II Total War: $7.49 AU, $4.99 US, etc.

EDIT: Bloody Stalker SoC, great sale price for us Aussies at $12.99!

Except it's $2.00 for the US.

If you hadn't picked up STALKER SoC in the previous couple of months at $1.50 then you don't deserve to get it cheap =p
