Its an excellent game, but id suggest playing with friends as playing it through single player just isnt the same.

I might actually buy Borderlands, securom means I cant play my (genuine) disk right now, very annoying as it cost around $100 originally from memory. I'll never buy another game with it.

    Always wanted Prototype too hmm...

    So... Alpha Protocol or Prototype?

Anyone played both/either of these games?

Cup of coffee or a novelty stubby cooler?

Played both, loved both. Choice would depend on which genre you prefer. AP is a FPSRPG; Prototype is action hack and slash.

Thanks Jigoku, bought them both. Two fat games for under $30AUD, love it.

Make sure you get the patch for AP. Apparently this is one of those rare instances where (at least currently) Steam does not have the latest version and a "retail" patch works.

    SEGA West

    [strike]Get the US patch.[/strike]

The top one says it is for digital download versions so get that =p

So anyone know (here's looking at you Jig), whether (a) you need to have 10 released games on your wishlist to be eligible for the "get" part of the sale, and (b) whether only released games are eligible to be received?

If so I'll need to add quite a few as I've mainly got unreleased games on there.

...and it's about time the Wongo's got the recognition they deserve.

How do I rank my wishlist? Steam has a 'rank' sort display when you look at your wishlist but of course the higher value stuff seems to be on the bottom.

Drag and drop within the Steam client. Alternatively you can edit the number itself.

Apparently it doesn't work within Chrome.

Weird, it should work with chrome, as Steam makes use of Webkit which pretty much the same thing as Chrome and the steam version of the browser even sports a Chrome based UserAgent ID string.

Must be using some weird AJAX library that's mis-detecting the abilities of Chrome 7.x - even spoofing the UA String doesn't make it play nice.

Edit: Seems as if the web version won't let you edit the ranks at all no matter what browser you use. Instead you must do it by accessing the store from within steam itself. Even with Firefox the drag and drop and number edit fields aren't available.

Shock: Your wishlist is ranked from high to low in an ascending order of inverse numerical value, so the higest rank has the lowest number value. In short, you want to good ones to come 1st.

I used Chrome to edit my rankings. The trick is that you have to log in to your Steam community account and then access your wishlist from your profile page. Just drag the games up and down on the list.

By the way, did anyone here buy Kane and Lynch 2 and is it worth playing? I did try the demo.
