no, it always stays as a pack
Not precisely the right product but you get the idea...
Good link for keeping track of everything on sale. They list the flash deals that have passed so you can check there and cry when you miss a good deal.
The Steam Deal Thread V3! Summer Sale live from 7/12-7/22. Check OP for tips!
I see Sanctum is a flash sale - it's a great game if you're looking to try a FPS Tower Defense game. I really enjoy it.
Great stuff guys! Keep posting the good links.
What about iBomber Defense Pacific? Good tower defence game?
yeah, I bought both iBomber games last time they were on sale. Pretty basic as far as TD games go but fun, definitely a good buy at half price.
I've heard it max 2 players in co-op? Would be fun on a Lan-Party if it were more players.
(Quoting myself, yes I know. )
Bought it anyway, so in multiplayers it's max 4 people.
I also bought The Ship. I know it's an older game, but the concept is intriguing. It's actually a fun/enjoyable game.
some help if you cant decide whether to buy or not....some swearing so turn it down a bit if thats an issue for you...
Today is the day for Walking Dead. It is $14.99 at 40% off.
I prefer this one:
Anyway, Serious Sam 3 BFE for me today.
Trine 2 and Blood Money for me today. - Watching a lets play of the Walking Dead episodes with Force so i can avoid that temptation.
Any thought on Assassin's Creed Revelations?
Looks fun to play but my main concern are the controls. Are there regular controls where S makes you walk backward, AD to sidestep and the mouse to turn around?
From the gameplay I have seen you can not do that. S makes you turn around, and A and D make you turn left and right. (Just like in Kingdom of Amalur, a game I will not play because of those #$%[you can't even begin to imagine what I think of those]@#^ controls)
Train Simulator 2012 !
On a more serious note Company of Heroes - How complicated a game is it - Always wanted to get it but feared it would be too much for my simple mind to understand.
Damn you Steam!
It is a pretty basic RTS game. The tutorials aren't too boring and they basically let you "learn by doing". So you don't need to be an RTS pro to enjoy it.
Cheers mate - Will pick it up.
Steam sales are the only times i ever worrying about 'wasting' my precious £1.50
So far i nabbed: Witcher 2, Metro 2033, Crysis pack ,GTA 4 and Assassins Creed 2. Very happy with the selection and the prices. Plenty of gaming for me!
Purchases so far, bit of a mixed bag.
Dungeon Defenders - Not yet played
Railworks 3 - Haulin' USA Pack - Excellent, but slow. Very much an acquired taste.
Age of Empires III: Complete Collection - Not yet played.
Ridge Racer Unbounded Bundle - Doesn't work on my system. x64 core i5, 8gb ram, Crossfire HD7770s
Worms Reloaded - GOTY - Not yet played
Sonic Generations - Incredible game. Just unbelievable if you are or were a fan.
Anno 2070 - Snore! Junk.
From Dust - Excellent, a little different. Essentially a pretty physics puzzler with a neat story.
Arma II: Combined Operations (ROW) - Yet to play, purchased for DayZ.
Left 4 Dead 2 (AU) - Awesome.
Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition - As above.
I've bought Portal 2 so far. I'm really holding myself back this year.
