Very much 'wait-and-see' on the changes.

New incursion could be a lot better - looks like an open area with room to manoeuvre and change tactics. Hopefully they will have some points for snipers to get to so they can actually provide cover for the rest of the team. Make LMG's useful for suppression etc.

The HVT's are apparently a one shot, limited time deal once you start the mission. Not sure that's a good idea - depends on how tough they are.

DZ changes - really at this point if you're in a team and there are any other agents around you will need to start the extraction, kill them with maybe 30 seconds to go and then get ready to bug out as soon as the chopper moves. Making the DZ less fun than it already is.

With Overwatch out within a day of this dropping it had better be amazing out of the gate or it's dead within a week.

Will have to see but looks good as they are adding more stuff outside DZ this is definitely good for the PVE players .. Hopefully these bosses respawn like DZ bosses and drop same level gear .. If you don't want to go to DZ or play in there at least you can have options .. After all Devs said generosity was the core of what they were doing with patch 1.2

The more room to move in incursions is far better agree ..

I would love to cut a rope on an extraction don't touch the gear and just run but could end in tears

    I agree with Battle Pope.

I think the game is fundamentally broken on many levels. Adding new ways to grief players to the DZ, especially solo players, is not something I particularly look forward to.

Increasing the amount of drops will only work if its a drastic increase, for example a 1000% increase in good high ends that you will equip, and not salvage. Gumpnstein did a recent video where he talked about the ridiculous amounts of RNG in the game, to keep you grinding more or less forever before you find an upgrade.

You can watch it here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LQJAarzogn8

His main point : You can guarantee a 204 weapon drop from every single named boss, have it roll the top damage range and crit chance/HS damage guaranteed, and still end up with 1000 hours before you find a god roll weapon

With Overwatch coming out, and Uncharted 4 on my to play list, the next update has to be really really good to get me to come back, especially with a lot of my stuff getting 'fixed to work as intended' next patch. A nerf is still a nerf, whatever you call it.

Ultimately, the game doesn't respect our time enough, if it makes us grind so much to get an upgrade at endgame. As a working professional with very little time and enough disposable income to buy whatever game I want, there are many many other alternatives that are more rewarding currently.

PS : Doom is really good!

**Highlighting mine: best make sure you've got all of these done by next week if you want to do the new stuff.

If the HVT's and S&D missions are an ongoing daily/weekly setup like the currant missions I doubt I'll bother setting foot in the DZ again without a compelling reason.

I'm also hoping the new gear sets will make differing roles meaningful - i.e. you can actually specialise as a sniper to cover your team, have a support guy with an LMG to suppress/wound bad guys while a tank and DPS are able to move up, flank and secure objectives or eliminate HVT's

From everything i have read and seen from the various reviewers is this will be the case we will be flooded with ONLY high end gear and this is 204 gearscore onwards ...

We will not be getting as many if any mod drops like we see now they say this will be in all modes ..

What we forget also is Base of Ops has been dropping 204 God Roll weapons or very close to for the past 3 weeks hopefully they have a 204 Vector this week :) .. So really all we have to do is try and get the new gear which i am assuming will drop from bosses or in modes..

What i want to see is cheaper way way way cheaper DZ stuff or access to this somehow .. Why cant i convert my $3,000,000 normal currency to DZ currency and buy some blueprints or gear.. We have so many safehouses outside DZ but vendors there are useless after level 30

Fully agreed man. I grinded DZ until 93.. and the grind for DZ currency is such a pain if you don't go rogue all the time.

Sadly, the fastest way to get DZ currency to buy all the blueprints every week, is to hang around the 160 bracket to farm lower geared players. 5k DZ currency per kill is the fastest you will get DZ cash, plus the rewards for surviving your rogue timer.

I don't think this most efficient method is fun by any measure for both sides, killing those who cannot fight back, or getting killed by someone whom you have no chance against

TLDR : Farm players, not mobs if you want cash. If you're morally opposed to it.. then too bad, because grinding NPCs is crazy boring and slow in comparison. Hence me not logging in for the last few days. Heh

Hell, I'd love to know why it takes 6 weapon parts and 4 tools to craft an entire MP5 but 5 tools and 8 weapon parts to craft a single magazine :eek::w

Very True .. But they could have a entire game outside DZ and one inside if the used safehouses .. Even the named bossed that used to be around showed this.. But because it became a exploit the killed the named bosses of outside permanently .. Why didn't they put on a timer like DZ one are..

Hence why they are so many gankers .. I am only DZ 53 got approx 50,000 DZ funds so cant buy any of the rest of the 214 gear sets as they are 200,000 + . I wont pick on the players in DZ and i only go in to do daily mission get exp and any $$ at that time ..

At the end of the day they never really put much thought into currency .. things cost way to much .. Even patch 1.2 expands Phoenix Credit Limit but i haven't seen anything on how you can spend your normal currency like convert to DZ $$ or bring down prices in DZ safehouses ..

Overall happy with what they are doing but they do need to look at access to gear for non PVP players or look at currency ..

I suppose they are relying on players to re-roll weapons more to get the god roll as more perks etc then magazines have

I am surprised no one has mentioned that the agent with the new Final Measure gear set was holding an AA-12 automatic shotgun. Also there appears to be a named LMG (based on the M60) as well.

I think there is a bit more to the Sentry's Call saga and it involves Automatic Shotguns we see in 1.2 yes plural as there is the Medved SAIGA A12 Shotgun and then if you notice the new Hunter’s Faith Gearset has the exact same icon as Sentry's Call .. does that mean they can work together , what options will that have or open up ..

The nerf / fix for sentry call was for automatic weapons dealing the first 3 hits to increase THE DAMAGE some thought pistols and shotguns could be used to mark and then switch to another weapon .. Now we see Auto Shotty's interesting ..
