They have certainly done a dam good job of the graphics in this game when it can be blended seamlessly with Google Street View .. Open images in another tab to view full-size
I made a comment last night on TS about how amazingly well realised the game world is - its easily one of the best examples I've seen in any game.
The care and attention to detail is impressive. I've even seen NY'ers impressed with the environment, suggesting that they nailed what NY would look, feel and sound after an event such as this.. and if you're impressing NY'ers about the feel of NY, you're doing something very right. Playing solo at the moment, the missions are a little samey but it doesn't seem to make me care given the environment. Last night was in a snow storm in darkness - couldn't see more than 10m in front of me, looked amazing on an XB1.
I guess it would have to be given that it's potentially an MP environment. Would be odd someone being in darkness during snowfall while your partners were in clear daylight skies.
yeah I wasn't sure if weather was sort of client based or something which syncs when you join a squad or something. Looks good though.
Those pictures are great. The game is fluid and pretty. We were fighting past the docks last night, and both stopped to admire a ship in the bay, before continuing to the next checkpoint. I really should work out what the screenshot button is I've been playing a bit solo, a bit with friends and once or twice with agent finder. While agent finder brings the firepower needed for some missions (particularly when replayed on hard) it not a patch on a group using voip and squad tactics.
