    Hey guys,

So I wanted to start this off by admitting that during the sign up process when it asked for 'name' I stupidly put in my real name without realising it was a username. I'll ask an admin to change it when I can for sure.

Now that's out of the way though, I'm a 30 year old male from Sydney, Australia. I'm married and have no kids just yet, but because of work and marital responsibilities I do most of my games either early in the morning before work 7am ish or more likely, randomly after 5pm and more consistently after 9pm till around 11pm AEST. I have a bunch of hobbies that is not only gaming, which is mainly working out at the gym, reading books, I love the movies and also playing/ watching Baseball.

As I've gotten older I've found myself more focused on single player games, of which I play pretty much any decent new release (currently playing RE2 Remake and Tales of Vesperia). I have a PS4 and Switch for my single player games and a PC which is used mainly for multiplayer although it is due for a much needed upgrade now that I'll plan to do in the middle of the year. Currently looking forward to Anthem, Division 2 and Sekiro among others.

My earliest gaming memory is playing 'Hugo's House of Horrors' on my dad's IBM in his workplace office. Being a kid who loved anything horror related (and still do) I was obsessed with it. I think I truely fell in love with gaming when I was a bit older and Mario 64 entranced me, while FF7 absolutely floored me with its scale and scope. I have not stopped playing games since.

I want to join TOG simply because I don't have any friends who play games, I haven't for years and years now and I feel like I'm missing out on a lot of fun gaming experiences because I mostly play stuff solo. TOG also appeals to me of course because I'm 30 now and looking to have kids relatively soon, I want people with similar responsibilities (distractions) that I do because I feel people will be more accommodating compared to someone who's 18 and can play games 8+ hours a day. Saying that though, I'm still a HUGELY competitive gamer and try to be as hardcore and competitive in every single game I play, I take games fairly seriously. I just have less time to play them now.

That's about it from me, I've written all this on my phone at work so I'm sure I've written way too much but I'm not going to go back and read it now. Just really looking forward to being a part of this community and hopefully meeting some like-minded people.

    Thanks for reading.

haha.. Can't believe you wrote that novel from your phone...
My work would be highly impressed if I could get past 1 or 2 words from mine.

You will enjoy TOG @Doni L and there is a lot of different gaming diversions here that you may wish to investigate, not just single player. :)

    Welcome to the TOG community!!!

Below is your “Induction kit” which consists of several links or shortcuts to help get you started and navigate around the TOG site a little quicker.

Public Forums “Blue Light Disco” area i.e. Where the under 25 and non-members hang out. Note public members do not have access to any of the forums below.
Member Forums Put your feet up grab a coffee, beer, wine or prune juice and relax with a multitude of topics including general chat, funnies, videos, VR and also some Geek stuff. (ask Kev how do you cook an egg on a CPU.)
Member News As suggested in the link however please note that brain farts do not constitute as news and most likely belong in general chat above.
Simulation and Sports Divisions This is for all financially challenged that might not able to afford their own personal Fighter jet or Formula one racing car or perhaps you are just reliving the old moments of glory when you were able to kick a football beyond the front letter box.
FPS Gods and Legends are both created and destroyed here with most tiers one games being catered for. It has been scientifically proven at TOG headquarters that a 60+ year old can still outsmart a teenager with inhuman reflexes. (Bring your own tissues!)
MMORPG This is where the imaginative dreamers go to temporarily escape their mundane existence of everyday life . If you’re lucky enough you may even find that mystical unicorn you always searched for.
Strategy, RPG and other Games Similar to above however with fewer unicorn’s and maybe the occasional game of chess.
Operations Where you get to annoy the guys in RED with any account issues… or just annoy them.

All the TOG sponsored external site information can be found here Facebook , Steam and Discord .

TOG Tinder Meet like-minded gamers. You can swipe left right and even up and down however you enter this part of our forums at your own risk and there is no money back guarantee.

Should you happen to meet a mysterious Goat in your adventures then we apologize in advance for any bad behavior. (…you just clicked the tinder link didn’t you?)

The fine print - We do not provide toothbrushes should you decide to stay the night, but showering is still optional and remains personal choice (until they figure out how to add a sense of smell to the VR world.)

    Woo!

Thanks guys, thanks for the invite.

And yea working as a tradesperson means I spend a lot of downtime on my phone and not infront of a computer like other office workers. You get good at typing on the thing.
