As is usual for me by the time i get the hardware to play a popular game its time is almost up, i have only been able to play bf4 for the last six months or so and it has been a blast but now everyone has moved on i must move on as well my relic of a computer cannot play the new game and spending over $800 on my pc to bring it up to something resembling a modern computer is simply beyond my limited resources

RL problems have come to bear and i am struggling with dealing with them all, i had pinned my hopes on retraining myself and getting some kind of decent work but this has failed, long term unemployment has left us with no option but to go and stay with family in NSW...we will be selling up and swapping our computers for some type of console i can use with my dodgy thumb but i will not be playing online again for a long time i think

thanks for all the the fond memories it sure was a blast playing on the TOG server together and i hope BF1 is everything your hoping for

    later guys Reefer out

    Sorry to hear that Reefer.

I myself have been searching in vain for employment for 9 months. It's an absolute joke. Everyone says that QLD has no work and I see a big city and think. How come? 20% of people in QLD are employed by the state.
I'm still searching. The last job I went for that gave me info on the people who applied. 170 people all applied for the same job. I'm good but they'res always someone better, with local knowledge and better English than me :]

Hopefully the move will be temporary.

Good luck in your endeavours and chin up.

Hey Reef, please take care. My 7 year old MB and CPU were ok for BF4 and seemed ok too for BF1. will miss the tbags and the mortars mate, but please don't stray too far from us.

That's a real shame, Reefer. If I had any hardware to donate, I would. But all my old stuff in like AGP-level ancient :)

    Sorry to hear Reefer ...
I'm sure with all the toggers out there we could find some spare parts that are still decent enough to run the game in some sort of state.

Hey Reefer, are you in Sydney?
I've got my old PC sitting in my spare room. I'll check if my daughter wants it, if not you are welcome to it.
I'll dig out the specs if interested.

Feel your pain Reef. Im in the same boat, last pc game I could play was BF2.

I went down the console path too. Hate it for FPS.

I torture myself visiting the BF1 forums.

    Best of luck dude.

You can get finance now for PCs. As long as you have a strict budget you could pay a half decent PC off over time.

We have to pack up and go and stay with relatives for a while until we can find work or i win lotto or something, we can only take what we can fit in the car which doesnt include desktop computers, we will have our old dual core laptop but it does not play games and anyway the internet where we are going is only the old ADSL 1 which is useless anyway, but thanks for the help most of the parts in my desktop were donated by toggers so im going to strip the desktop and return the parts to the owners or pass them on to those that can use them

    cheers

    Reefer out

I might be keen to buy some old-but-not-too-old parts. Hit me up if you have anything left over.
