Some of the gaming sites I frequent on a regular basis RPGnet - Gaming News, reviews & forums. Covers RPG, board games, CCGs etc Yog-Sothoth.com - "a place devoted to Call of Cthulhu & Lovecraftian games along with the works and influences of their inspiration, Jazz-era author, H.P. Lovecraft and his followers." Forums are quite active & tend to be mature. (TOG people would fit in quite well ) Shadowrun RPG - The official Shadowrun site. Dumpshock Forums - The main forums for Shadowrun Military Simulations - Australian Gaming store. White Wolf - Publishers of World of Darkness, as well as the SWORD & SORCERY & ARTHAUS GAMES imprints. Under which the World of Warcraft RPG & Everquest RPG are published. Currently working on the EVE Online RPG.
One I used to visit regularly is: BoardGameGeek | Gaming Unplugged Since 2000 ATM, the server seems to be down for maintenance, but it should be up soon.
The forge is a great community if your into the indy RPG scene. Lots of great ideas for game mechanics and settings come from here. The Forge - Index Along similar lines to rpg.net is Gaming Report... not as much review content but less vitriolic commentry GamingReport.com :: Where Gamers get their News Oh and if you're checking out RPG.net do yoruself a favour and read the old Jeff Freeman column Ack! RPGnet : Ack! Column Listing Very funny and cynical look at the world of gaming - the man can write I'm not sure (and can find no supporting evidence) but I think he's now writing this blog Jeff Freeman's blog as a game designer - the style seems the same but the topic is now MMO's and general internet wierdness
Roleplaying Tips - as the name suggests. Site was recommended to me by someone else to check out. Have not had much of a look as yet so cannot comment on usefulness. Others may find this of interest
Philippine-based board and card game portal: TabletopWars.com with gaming events every weekend, including an open meet monthly.
Thanks! Can anyone visit the website that I gave and look up the link to "Mystery of the Abbey"? Does it look like it's based on the novel The Name of the Rose? I just re-read the book recently and enjoyed it!
Here is a site that I always find helpful when I need a reference on the fly: The Hypertext d20 SRD (v3.5 d20 System Reference Document) :: d20srd.org Cheers, Meddie
