Are you guys playing this with Key/Mouse or using a controller? The stye of the game makes the controller alot more fun in SP but I feel like I am gimping myself when shooting in MP with the controller. Im so torn I think i might try switching keys/mouse for TAC and DEV Marines and controller for Assault.

Only used keyboard/mouse so far. It looks like the controller would work well for most things - not sure about precise aiming tho

Well, got an email from ozgameshop saying that my order has been shipped and will arrive in around 4-12 days. I really hope it isn't 12 days ...

So, it turns out Space Marine (and several other games) is not showing up on Steam in the UK because someone (rumours say its a high street retailer, Game UK) has contacted publishers and is forcing them to stop ditribution of games through Steam to the UK as it is apparently affecting their business.

    Its madness, im totally fuming...

    Yep Publishers set price.

Although, I emiled Gabe pointing out that Portal 2 was 40% extra to Aussies. I didn't get a response but a day later the price disparity leveled. :D

I've heard that same story too mate.

It's crazy because if you actually go into one of those "bricks and mortar" stores you'd likely struggle to find the PC "section" (or shelf) and asking the staff about PC games would probably result in a vacant expression akin to the L4D zombies......only with less life and intellegence behind it. ;)
(^^^Obviously a hyperbolic statement based on very little fact, I haven't actually bought anything PC-related "on the highstreet" for the best part of a decade; I'd be a loon to even think about it. :w)

I've been playing the campaign and a little bit of MP since steam release and I must say I am loving it so far. Mouse and k/b works well, not sure about the controller side of things (not a console fanboi).

I found you can mute players by clicking on their voice icon next to their name - found it because I was in a match tonight where this idiot was playing music, and appeared to be typing a novel while playing - very annoying.

Got creamed tonight by a team with 3 jump jetters who just obliterated anyone in their way, score was 1000 to 78 or so (the capture control points type).

I'm getting some serious frame drops in MP. Is it lag or my PC not up to spec?

WTF is Warhammer 40k: Space Marine multiplayer!

Good preview of what to expect, to the tune of lots of gameplay action.

    [edit]
PS - the "copy loadout" is a nice feature.
