Last year my parents showered me with gifts I couldn’t believe my luck. Then leading up to Christmas this year, as you would expect, I was quite excited as to what my parents would buy me. It was at dinner a couple of weeks ago, to my astonishment, that my parents informed me that they would not be spending so much money on my Christmas presents this year. Well after last year this didn’t worry me too much, because if they cut back 50% on what they spent last year I should still get quite a nice present or two. This morning I went to my parents house with mixed emotions, would I get anything at all? As soon as I got there I was straight under the tree looking at all of the big boxes to see if any were mine, but alas, all that were mine were three small parcels that looked the size of CD-ROM. Would I be getting 3 new PC title games? That would not be so bad. So I hurriedly opened the presents and what I found to my amazement was 1 copy of ET, 1 copy of COGS and one copy of TeamSpeak 2.

You may think my parents are cheep but I love them………….lol

Have a Merry Christmas every one and thanks to listening to my little piece of BS

    HellDad's an Idiot !!!

What did I get for Christmas? Apart from some nice gifts from the family, I got blisters on 4 fingers of my right hand. OUCH :!:

Putting some turkey meat in the oven, I forgot it had been pre-heated to 180C (~350F) and grabbed a shelf to slide it out. I say again OUCH :!:

There is no longer any doubt, I am an idiot. They will soon be shopping around for a nice old folks home to which I deserve to be consigned.

It is my mousing hand, and I will need a band-aid when the index finger blister bursts (yuk). I have a trio gig on NYE, but fortunately my fingertips are undamaged and I will be OK to pluck bass guitar strings. I am an idiot.

HellDaddio, you reckon Christmas gift injuries are bad...

My Christmas was literally a right royal pain in the neck. From my car accident, the dreaded 48th hour muscle pain kicked in today and all day I had a discomfort in my neck. Associate that to the bruising I've got everywhere else it's not all that fun.

Oh well, at least PC Gaming doesn't require too much movement and if only I had the time to sit and relax to game.

At least I'm still here to play computer games. :D

    Merry Christmas All! :D:D:D

My son got a pair of battery powered walkie-talkies. The type you get from Dick Smith for $30. We were running around the house saying "Roger that - over and out" when we heard some truckie interupt and introduce himself over the airwaves. 8O

That's when I got my mates real 2-way and checked the channels. The $30 pair of walkie-talkie was "on the air" and had a range of 3 kilometres (nearly 2 miles)!!

How cool is that - and they run on a 9 volt alkaline battery!!

    hehe

Hey, Fox, are they a green set of walkie talkies? Angus was given some too..I will have to make sure he doesn't get into trouble with them now :?

On another note, I gave Angus and Cailtlin a new set of headphones each. They are quite good, come with microphone too. But Angus has been making do with a crappy pair for too long, so it seems. He doesn't like the new set as sound comes out from both sides now; his old pair were broken!

Way - they are greenish - in fact they are ... (gets off bum to check) ... digitor 2 way personal radio.

    Three channels - 18, 20, 24.

A pair of teenage girls must also have them in my neighbourhood. They hang about on channel 24 and discuss what colour dress they will wear and how they will hang their hair.

Waste of a good channel.

Oh yeah and a chefs cutting board (I like to cook so that one was right on LOL)

Man I can't believe you did that, cause I did the same damn thing only I was lucky just one finger. 8O

Then I went and wacked my foot into a bloody heavy piece of garden furniture and just about broke my small toe. :(

Thank God for copius quantities of Xmas cheer to dull the pain.

I cut my left thumb (Alt Fire)...whilst slicing the left-over turkey for a fettuccine, shallot, sour cream, garlic NYE dinner for the family. (mangos for dessert)

Currently, the only bandaids have Dinosaurs on them. It looks like a T-rex. Oh, and a Dinsey logo and copyright. Go Figure, they copyrighted dinosaurs?

Mightn't sound like much but there was lotsa blood from the fair size slice. At least it wasn't primary fire, eh? :)

Gawd we're a bunch of silly old farts eh? -at least those who injured themselves in completely avoidable ways.
My blisters are healing up nicely with no pain. I wonder how Dero's car accident injuries are going?
