    OK

    I'm back temporarily...
(from my sojourn into CB350 engine rebuilding)

I need some help from my fellow TOGgers :!:

Tonight I arrived home from work to find my wife surrounded by
XMAS pressies that have arrived from the USA (her family)

Amongst them is a pressie she has bought for lil ol me :p

Its in some kind of heavy cardboard box about
    300mm wide x 250mm deep and 160mm high...
    it weighs around 2 - 4kgs....

I wonder what it is ???????

Well Belta, at first I thought this another of lifes real mysteries, but with a lightning flash of near god like inspiration from the memory cells that are still working, it hit me.

The "BOX" sounds just like a "BOX" that I received many years ago as a pressie, the only difference I can see from you post was that mine was marked as being from Santa. As we are all adults (sic) here and we know that this Santa fellow doesn't exist, I had no choice but to put the "BOX" under my bed.

I think it is still there! Now, as a sane 8O TOG aged man with a"BOX" similar to mine, do you really want to open it up and spoil the mystery of the "BOX" under the bed.

Good god am I awake and did I really write that before coffee ?

Belta I'm voting for a Waterford Lead Crystal Decanter Set.

XMAS Cheers from the big man in the red suit. :)

Hmm.. 2-4kg huh? Wedgewood stuff is probably too light then. Waterford would be too heavy, for those dimensions.

Depending on how good a boy you've been this year Belta - and whether or not you've made noises about it - could be a digital camera.

That's probably wishful thinking though. It probably is two boxes of tissues and a brick.

p.s. There better be a follow up post from you after Christmas, or I'm going to have to get Cailith to bomb you from the B-17..

Belta. Um...This box. It came from your wife's family. And you're going to open it, on Christmas day?

Tell me, just curious, you get on with the in-laws, don't you?

A DvD gift set of....next seasons episodes of your favourite show?

Have you visited them? Perhaps they are returning something you left behind?

Video tapes of your last visit?
