I think I will. I like the Roman style armor, and may make an Imperial crafter alt. From the way they are wording it, I'm understanding that you will be able to make Imperial Armor as an Imperial. After participating in tests, I am pretty set on playing a Wood Elf Archer, and would like to use that one as a level cap raider/pvper
I'm tempted, since I've played imperials before in ES and like the look of the heavy armour. I'd want to see the racials first though (even though I know they make a negible difference).
Fairly certain the racial abilities, at least as they stand now, are going to be removed from the game. It worked fine in their single player game but I don't see it making a full transition into an mmo.
They've already confirmed racial passive abilities are in game. There are no activated abilities tied to race, though.

I am also tempted to play as one. I always liked the look of imp armor in TES games. And with the "craft imp armor" feat they seem to have..…hmmm. But if we really can be ANY race in ANY alliance I must have a closer look at the more exotic races like the Kahjit or the Argonians or the Orcs
Bought the Standard Digi edition, so nope, wont be making an Imperial. I am thinking of doing an Orc caster or some description. We will have to see...
In the single player Elder Scrolls games, I usually played Bretons, Redguard or Dunmer. Here I'll just wait and see. Might go Imperial if they really are rarer than the others.
I do believe you won't have to be an Imperial to craft Imperial Armor. Other races will have to learn the Imperial style somehow before they can do it though.
StarKat, you are right. Any player can find the ability to craft Imperial Armor, but it's like finding a formula in a chest. Imperials just start with that technique, and can convert any armor to the Imperial Style.
Always seemed to go with the Imperial or Breton when I played single player. Not sure what I will start with yet, probably depend on my mood on the day and lets face it will probably end up with both anyway
I had Dunmer and Nord mains for Oblivion and Skyrim - can't remember for the life of me what I played for Morrowind. I will probably try other races this time (unless I have a character for Ebonheart, as I don't fancy playing Argonian) but I'm not fussed about playing Imperial. So I'll give the Imperial edition a miss.
