Shouldn't that be "Final Death" not "peramadeath".
Here's the posts from the WOD Forums:

And a follow up post:
Massively had an interview with Shane Defreest of CCP a few days ago.

permadeath (final death) is definitely a no-win card because the gankers/scammers are going to have a field day with that, reminds me of the Sabbat and their 'shovelheads', get a bunch of low level toons and gank the Prince and diablerize him... unfortunately I feel that this mechanism is going to kill the game.
the true RPGers will like it but they won't like it when it happens to them from the sadistic anonymous crowd the MMOs generate... time and time again.
Umm, aren't vampires permanently dead anyway?

Nothing says things are going well, like laying off 20% of your company's workforce.
yeah I read that, not good... and from what was implied, most were on the WoD team. I guess it will be a few years or more before we hear anything again.
Not a good sign for WoD and definitely not a good news for those who lost their job two months before Xmas

WoD still have the support of CCP. Its only the timeframe for delivery that has been nixed.
I love their sense of humor

This is starting to sound great.
Can't wait for this!
Hmm... Looks interesting. Seems like it won't be out for a looong time though.
I'm eager for this, but I was big into MAGE. Though I played all their games. I don't see any plausible means to stay true to MAGE. The whole premise built upon creativity and implausible events.
Some more information has come to light about this MMO...
The PA Report - World of Darkness MMO detailed: permadeath, player-controlled cities, and human blood as a resource
Also it's looking pretty
looks like Bloodlines to me, which isn't a bad thing, I played through that game several times, I might even play it again.
permadeath on the other hand, not so hot on.
Yeah they'd obviously have to ignore the tabletop version of Mage as far as game mechanics go. As long as they come up with something that is still fun I wouldn't mind though.
I'm still loving the idea of the game, but not convinced they can get players to carry the mood of the genre.
Still, even my girlfriend loved Bloodlines and ran around acting out lesbian blood fetishes, so could be cool.
